It’s Happy Hour Somewhere
From The Cut:
Backstage at Lincoln Center yesterday, an hour and a half before her 4 p.m. show was scheduled to start, Diane Von Furstenberg announced, “I would like a drink!”
“Like a cocktail?” asked a PR girl.
“Not a cocktail,” said the designer. “A beer.”
There were no kegs amidst the refrigerators of Lifeway Kefir, Fiji water, and Pom, but a few minutes later a plastic cup full of light beer materialized. Before we knew it, the cup was half-empty and DVF was taking interviews with a can of Stella Artois in her hand.
LUV her. Any woman who appreciates a good beer is A-OK in my book.
