Lately I’ve come across several photos that are eye-catching, but don’t fit into a specific category (like the ones in my “Melly Melts For…” posts) and aren’t significant enough to be posted by themselves.

From here on out, those kinds of images will be posted with the title “Pretty Shiny Sparkly.” Because they feature people, clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. that are (you guessed it) pretty, shiny, and/or sparkly.

Anna’s dress is fabulous. This photo was taken at a Knicks game. I luv that she wore the team’s colors in a way that stays true to her style.

Blake Lively has great legs, doesn’t she?

Those shiny shoes (fantastic, right?) could look clownish, but Olivia got it just right here.

You might remember that I have a thing for pretty doors. Well how freaking pretty is this one?! That nail head trim is amazing. And that green! 

I have serious brow envy. I wouldn’t mind having those cheekbones, either…

I want to be photographed in a gown cascading down a grand staircase just once before I leave this world.

Not a fan of the eye makeup, but that ‘do is killer.
