This is the ad for Oscar de la Renta’s new fragrance, Live in Love. It was created by fashion illustrator David Downton. Don’t get me wrong. Digital photography is amazing, but beautiful images like this make me long for the days “when advertising came out of an artist’s pen and brush,” as Women’s Wear Daily so aptly put it. Don’t get me wrong. Digital photography is amazing, but beautiful images like this make me long for the days “when advertising came out of an artist’s pen and brush,” as Women’s Wear Daily so aptly put it.
